Bonney Lake/Lake Tapps: June 2014

Bonney Lake Lake Tapps Livin-Sumnern Link Trail

Bonney Lake Lake Tapps Livin~ Sumner Link Trail

Print The Sumner Link Trail is now “open” for use.  The continuous trail runs for approximately eight miles from Sumner’s north border to south border. New maps help show you different amenities along the Trail, and staff are working to add way-finding signs, educational kiosks and more.  There is one section along Fryar that uses a bike lane and sidewalk as a temporary route.  The City is already designing a completely separated trail and is submitting grant requests to hopefully finalize this section soon.

The Sumner Link Trail was built with many partners including:
- Recreation & Conservation Office, State of Washington
- Rails to Trails

Sumner’s trails are the result of many years of planning, design and building.  In the meantime, please enjoy the trail for recreation, commuting, and a new view of Sumner Wa.
